Bitgrass DAO conducts governance through voting enabled by Snapshot. This system allows NFT holders to participate in decisions by casting votes on proposals.
Voting Rights and Power
- Voting rights are granted to holders of Bitgrass NFTs.
- Voting power is generally proportional to the number of NFTs held, as defined by Bitgrass governance rules.
- Each proposal specifies the voting options and voting duration.
Voting Process
- Proposal Publication Authorized members publish a proposal in the Bitgrass Snapshot space.
- Voting Period NFT holders review the proposal and cast their vote during the open voting window.
- Vote Counting Votes are counted according to Bitgrass’s predefined voting strategy.
- Result Announcement Outcomes are publicly visible in the Snapshot space.
Voting Options
Participants can choose from:
- Vote For
- Vote Against
- Abstain from voting
More complex voting methods may be introduced later but are not currently implemented.
Access to Voting
To vote, participants must:
- Connect a wallet containing eligible Bitgrass NFTs to the Snapshot space.
Select their preferred option before the voting deadline.
